My first poem in 2014, after losing my great Granny. I was in college at the time and wouldn't write again for 7 years.

After the most difficult year of my adult life, I decided to pick up my journal and start writing again. Not knowing what I'd write, I started here.

My Nana - what a woman! What I miss most:

• "You are my Sunshine"
• "Snug as a bug in a rug"
• Putting on repeat "My Heart Will Go On" for us to fall asleep to

It's hard to write a caption for this one, it holds a huge weight in my heart. Not a day goes by I don't think of or miss my Papa. Grief is hard.
